Express Payroll Solutions for Michigan Small Businesses

Lori started Express Payroll Solutions, a Michigan payroll company, in 2005 with the purpose of providing our small business clients with payroll processing and payroll management without all the bells and whistles of the large providers and at a lower cost.

Depending on their needs, EPS allows business clients to call or email in their payroll on a weekly, biweekly, semiweekly, or monthly basis. While most companies choose direct deposit, paper checks are available. Proper tax payments are made on the behalf of each business. Payroll services include quarterly payroll report processing and end-of-year W2 processing.

Pandemic Payroll Processing

The recent pandemic has been a learning curve, but Lori has assisted clients with most of the payroll-related programs that the federal government has rolled out since April 2020. At the start of the pandemic, Lori was proactive with informing clients about employee unemployment-related issues. As payroll tax credits were rolled out for Employee Retention Credits (COVID pay while sick or tending to a sick family member), Lori was able to advise clients through the changing environment.
