Lewis Boucher, CPA primarily works on attest engagement services. Lew has a Master of Science in Accountancy from Western Michigan University – Haworth College of Business. He received his degree in 2014, and started working at a larger CPA firm shortly thereafter, working primarily on attest engagement services. Lew enjoys working on audit engagements. After a brief stint working for a private company, Lew found his way back into public accounting. Where he chose to work at a smaller firm where he was able to hone his skills, learning to see an engagement in its entirety rather than just one small piece. Over the years he has gained an in-depth understanding of attestation and financial reporting. And has worked with clients in a wide variety of industries. Those industries include real estate and construction, healthcare, manufacturing, hospitality, and non-profit organizations.
Lew is a experienced small business accountant. He thrives on building lasting and productive relationships with entrepreneurs and small business owners. Whether Lew is working on a tax or accounting engagement or an audit engagement, he is ready to help. He believes that a good accountant is one that can be a trusted adviser for a client by providing solutions that go beyond the numbers. Lew is a member of the MACPA and the AICPA. When he’s not in the office, Lew can be found up north working on his family’s tree farm or out camping and riding his bicycle.
